Holiday Sweater Party XIX (hosted by Nu Habitat)

One of Portland’s most notorious holiday house parties is back for its 19th rendition. Started in 2002 by a group of room mates living in a turn of the century craftsman on SE Hawthorne, this holiday sweater party has become a Portland staple. With its signature holiday attire, name tags, delicious holiday spread at the living room buffet, comfortable discussions on the front stoop, and legendary underground music in the basement, this event is not to be missed.

After hitting pause for a few years, two of the original hosts Mark Lundquist and Dave Levy have decided to bring the much loved event back to life in a new higher capacity home. This years Holiday Sweater Party XIX will be hosted by Nu Habitat at The Get Down in SE Portland.

The Get Down provides a more spacious landscape to spread our holiday cheer. You can expect the same wild and creative guests dressed in unique holiday themed attire, name tags for everyone at the door, funky decor, a full bar, and of course a lineup of holiday ghosts past and present selecting tasteful electronic beats for your prancing feet.
