Twirl: PDX Queer Disco

Portland Pride ain't over yet!

Come out to The Get Down on Saturday, July 29th for an end of Pride month dance party!

Twirl is a monthly Portland-based queer dance party where the essence of Disco is at the forefront of everything! This indelible music genre has been part of queer culture since its inception, and at Twirl we honor the past while also curating sounds via the current iterations of Nu-Disco & House music.

In addition to rotating dj's from Portland and beyond, expect inspired drag performances from the wealth of local talent! If nothing else, Twirl is about getting lost on the dance floor and finding some friends along the way!  (find us on Insta @twirl.pdx)

Guest dj ~ Shi Shi, splitting time between NYC and PDX this infectiously fun dj loves to have a good time and makes sure that you will too!

Resident dj ~ LéMix, the creator of Twirl dj LéMix is always hunting for the best disco remixes to remind you what you're missing and loves to give the Twirlers a reason to get funk'd up.

- Jocelyn Knobbs, is an incredible artist/performer and producer of The Most Pageant this doll lives for Disco and will give you everything you didn't know you were missing!

- Ah!Baloney, a frequent collaborator of Jocelyn's as well as a stand-alone artist, dj and performer Ah!Baloney is as timeless and queer as Disco itself! Don't sleep on this one of a kind drag artist!
