TWIRL: Queer Dark Disco

Twirl is a monthly Portland-based queer dance party where the essence of Disco is at the forefront of everything! This indelible music genre has been part of queer culture since its inception, and at Twirl we honor the past while also curating sounds via the current iterations of Nu-Disco & House music. In addition to rotating dj's from Portland and beyond, expect inspired drag performances from the wealth of local talent! Guest dj ~ Glittery Ghoul, co-creator of Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love; a monthly italo-disco night at Coffin Club, we can't wait for Glittery Ghoul to share his talents of all styles of dark disco with 3 vinyl sets thru the night!

Resident dj ~ LéMix, the creator of Twirl dj LéMix will be adding nu-disco/funk and synthy dark disco edits to the mix ensuring everyone has a killer time!

These two drag personas are known for their awe-inspiring looks and performances that are equal parts glam and ghoul! With performances between dj sets Glucose and Kat will be rounding out an evening of bewitching talent from some of Portland's darkest and danciest corners!
